2019 Pole Mountain Trail Project Gets Underway
The 2019 edition of the Pole Mountain Trail Project has started work on the Aspen Trail and we have the first pictures of the really sweet looking rerouted/repaired trail. We are excited to see how much of the 9,000 lineal feet of proposed rerouted trail the crews will be able to knock out this season.
We also want to remind everyone that we are still seeking matching funds for the National Forest Foundation Grant. That means that your donations are doubled and all that money goes directly to support the trails. You can make a donation and keep up with the latest on the Pole Mountain Trail Project on our project page: https://www.wyopath.org/our-work/pathways-projects/pole-mountain-trail-project/
We want to thank the volunteers that helped with the layout and planning, the American Conservation Experience crews and Adam Buck and Pathfinder Trail Building for making some fun and sustainable trails.
If you would like to give back to these great trails, there will be an opportunity to help out with a volunteer trail day to rehab the old trail sections on Wyoming Public Lands Day, September 28th. We will post signup information in the next couple of weeks.
