Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Training in Laramie a Success!

We had a very successful bicycle and pedestrian training in Laramie on June 27th, with nearly 60 attendees. Attendees included many from WYDOT, representatives of various cities, counties and private engineering firms and bicycle and walking advocates, among others. It was a great cross-section of those interested in learning the “nuts and bolts” of bicycle and pedestrian transportation planning in the state.

The Wyoming Technology Transfer Center and Wyoming Pathways partnered on this training that was sponsored by the Federal Highways Administration and was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie, WY.

The event ran smoothly and feedback so far has been great. The instructors from leading design and planning firm Toole Design were knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information for the attendees to build into their planning and development plans going forward.

We look forward to holding more trainings like this, so our designers, planners and engineers have the best information available to make Wyoming communities safer and more biking and walking-friendly in the future. If you would like to see more events like this in the future, please let us know and please support Wyoming Pathways.
