Fat Bike Worlds to be Held in Pinedale, January 15-17, 2021

Big news for Pinedale!  It was looking like the Fat Bike Worlds that were originally scheduled to be held in Crested Butte for January 22-24 were going to be cancelled, but Pinedale, WY stepped-up and they will now be held this weekend (January 15-17) in Pinedale!  Borealis Fat Bikes, HED and other great sponsors have gotten together with Pinedale’s own Wind River Brewing Company to present the event and it should be a great time.  Here’s the lowdown:

“The Borealis Fat Bike World Championships is in its sixth year, and we are excited to announce the race is NOT cancelled, it will be held in amazing Pinedale, Wyoming and the Wind River Brewing Company (here in Pinedale) will be fueling the party all weekend! We have also added a new event for the kickoff party on Friday night (Jan. 15). We will be playing Fat Bike Cornhole near WRBC! On Saturday, Jan. 16, we head up for the annual throwdown of fatties in the Winds.  Yeah, it’s a race, and some serious athletes show up to race for the title of World Champion! Plenty of people, however, also wear costumes, shoot whiskey, and eat bacon of course, check out the vendors, drink some WRBC brews, and watch people slay laps on some killer trails at the base of the Wind River Mountain Range. It’s for all types of riders, from the racer to the first timer, with categories and laps for each. More than anything, Fat Bike Worlds is about riding fatties and chilling at 7200′ with a group of awesome people! You gotta get up to get down, so come on up!”
