Complete Streets: WYDOT State Bicycle and Pedestrian Accommodation and Encouragement

Wyoming’s State Highways are frequently community main streets, and many are used by people biking and walking for recreation and transportation. Efforts underway include US Bicycle Route designation for the Trans-America route that crosses Wyoming, participation in an update of WYDOT’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan, serving on the Safety Management Committee, and meeting with WYDOT leadership and the Transportation Commission on bicycle and pedestrian topics.

How we helped

Wyoming Pathways is working with WYDOT to explore options to enhance the safety and function of state roads for biking and walking.
