Trails: Pole Mountain Connector

We’re thrilled to share that Phases 1 & 2 of the Pole Mountain Connector Trail in Laramie are complete! We partnered with Pointe Strategies and the USFS Medicine Bow National Forest to help us oversee the project. This trail will allow Laramie residents to travel entirely on foot or by bike from town to the Happy Jack and Vedauwoo trail systems. This project made outdoor recreation more accessible, offering nature's mental and physical benefits to those who might not have a vehicle or prefer not to use one. Wyoming Pathways has multi-year agreements with the Medicine Bow Forest to plan, build, and renovate system trails in the Medicine Bow & Brush Creek National Forest.

We built Phases 1 and 2 of the Pole Mountain Connector linking Laramie to Happy Jack.

Next steps

We have plans to improve and repair 6-10 miles of system trail between Happy Jack and Vedauwoo. Wondering how to help? Volunteer or donate.
